Who leads it
Aaron Alexander
Aaron is a manual therapist and movement coach, the author of The Align Method, and the host of the Align Podcast, with more than 600 conversations behind him. He got here the long way. Just like many of us, he spent years approaching movement wrong. He added muscle to cover insecurity, and his body answered with dislocations, back pain and anxiety. He moved to Hawaii, took up surfing and jiu jitsu, and went looking for what actually worked. He found it in Rolfing and manual therapy, and in a line from Ida Rolf that reorganized the rest: the way you walk through a room is the way you walk through life.
His stance has not changed since. (Though his body stance changes constantly, which is the point.) Sitting is not the problem, the way you sit is. You are not training for an hour a day, you are training all day. And the fastest way into a different state is through the body.
