This policy explains what information alignbreathing.com collects, why, and what you can do about it. The site is operated by Aaron Alexander ("we," "us"). If you have a question about any of it, email hello@alignbreathing.com.
Information you give us
Email address and name. When you join the waitlist, request the Nervous System Reset, or sign up for emails.
Speaking and booking inquiries. Your name, email, organization, event details, and anything else you type into the form on the speaking page.
Messages. Anything you send us by email.
We do not ask for sensitive information, and you should not send health details, medical history, or payment card numbers through any form on this site.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, this site records technical information when you visit: IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages viewed, and time spent. This comes from our website host and analytics tools and is used to understand traffic and fix problems.
Cookies
The site uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember your preferences, and measure traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work as well if you do.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Who we share it with
We use outside companies to run the site and our email. They process your information on our instructions and only for these purposes:
Squarespace — website hosting and forms
Kit (formerly ConvertKit) — email list and sending
Google — storage of form submissions and analytics
Skool — the Align Skool community platform, including membership billing
Skool handles its own accounts and payments and acts as an independent company with its own privacy policy. If you join Align Skool, their policy governs what happens inside the platform.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or in connection with a sale or transfer of the business.
Email and how to stop it
Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and it works immediately. You can also email hello@alignbreathing.com and ask to be removed. We may still send you messages about something you specifically requested or purchased.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address for as long as you are subscribed, and for a reasonable period afterward to honor your unsubscribe. Form submissions are kept as long as needed for the inquiry and our records. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

Opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information (we do neither)
To exercise any of these, email hello@alignbreathing.com. We will not treat you differently for asking. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area, our legal bases for processing are your consent (for marketing email), our legitimate interests (operating and improving the site), and compliance with legal obligations. You have the right to withdraw consent at any time and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
International transfers
We operate from the United States, and the companies listed above store and process information in the United States. If you are outside the US, your information will be transferred there.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email hello@alignbreathing.com and we will delete it.

The site links to other places, including Amazon, Skool, podcast platforms, and social media. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Read their policies before giving them your information.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change, and we will change the date at the top. Material changes will be announced by email or a notice on the site.
